institute for new media is a member of the development partnership New Profiles which has been established by companies and associations in Rostock in the framework of the Community Initiative EQUAL in 2002.
The main interest of the development partnership is to strengthen disadvantaged people on their way to self-employment, to promote entrepreneurial spirit and to investigate new possibilities for the development of the local economy. IFNM takes part in this development partnership through its project „Idea workshop: Multimedia Developer“
IFNM is also responsible for the trans-national coordination of the European partnership RESEDA as a part of the Equal project.
The RESEDA partnership is the platform for communication and cooperation in various fields between three European development partnerships: Added Value in Sweden, MicroCip in Italy and New Profiles in Germany.
